WOW!!

What a start to 2015 ceramicsinschools has had.

February was spent in Hay working with Lanelle Lee Chin from Hay War Memorial High School, to create an ANZAC themed mural. This involved Hay War Memorial High School, Hay Public School, 2 small 10 student schools from Booligal and Carrathool, students from School of the Air who travelled up to 400 km with mothers and governesses, and the Hay community. We are all so excited by this massive project. ceramicsinschools will be travelling back to Hay to work on painting, gluing and installing the mural in time for the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day!!

March was spent with the lovely students and staff at Abbotsford Public School, creating individual projects for their art exhibition. This has been the most well connected social media school we have visited, with each photo posted getting zillions of views! Thank you Abbotsford Public School.

It has also been wonderful to go back for our annual visit to John Colet School and work with the wonderfully talented team there. It has also been such a pleasure to revisit Epping Public School on our biennial visit. Its wonderful for ceramicsinschools to have a connection with the students over their primary school years.  We have been visiting both of these schools for about 13 years! Thank you John Colet School and Epping Public School for building us into your program.
